1977 Corvette Stingray

Well, here it is.  My baby.  I found it in Ellenton, Florida in July of 1998, flew down, bought it, and drove it back.  Yes, I videotaped every second back and loved every mile.  My trip consisted of swimming in the bay of Florida on the west coast, travelling east to cruise my machine on the Daytona Beach and swimming on the east coast, then began my long journey back home.  On my way back I passed through Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Illinois, and Misourri.  Each minute was a new experience and unexpected.  I got to see the St. Louis Arch again, the hills of Tennessee, the devastating fires of Florida, and my wonderful girlfriend, all in one weekend.  I went from lightning storms to salt breezes to experiencing a breakdown near the town of Canton, Missouri.  Finally arriving home, my Stingray spent almost every night in the garage and only saw beautiful sun and weather.   Here's my tribute to this true dream machine:
